We have spent several months exploring the creation story. This week we will learn a poem to help remember all that God created on each day. Let’s have some fun using it sing God’s praises!

Light came on day one

The light of God not of the sun

The sky He created on day two

A perfect picture full of light blue

on day number three He brought forth land, flowers and seas,

Fruits and veggies, bushes and trees

On day four, He made the sun for day’s light

And then made the moon for night

The fifth day He created the animals of the seas

And the skies He filled with birds with wings

On day six He made the animals on land

He made man in his own image to finish His grand plan

Day seven He called a holy day, blessed

To enjoy his creation and rest
