Activity #1

 On the 3rd day God made the oceans when he pulled the waters on top away from the waters on the bottom.  Then He made the land by pulling the waters together into one area so now we can go to the beach and have a place to play and build houses to live.  Since the oceans were created, fish and all the other sea animals had a place to live so on the 5th day, God filled the waters with all the sea animals. How many can you name?  Today we will make some fish to remember this the 5th day of creation.

Supplies:

Paper plate                       construction paper          goggly eyes        glue              scissors

Steps:

1.       Cut a triangle out from one side of the plate

2.       Glue the triangle at the point

3.       Cut triangles out of construction paper and tape to top and bottom of plate

4.       Cut squares from the construction paper and glue along entire surface of plate and tail

5.       Glue google eye to plate

Activity #2 

On the 5th day, God made birds.  Let’s make our own. This week we will make birds with our paper plates. 

Supplies:

Paper plate         paint (include yellow or orange)               Glue         construction paper          Googly eyes

Steps:

1.       Cut plate in half

2.       Glue halves together at the ends making the shape of a 7

3.       Paint the lower half paper plate one color

4.       Paint the vertical half one color on the right half and yellow or orange on the front half

5.       Cut strips out of the construction paper

6.       Glue strips to tip of vertical plate half

7.       Glue google eye to horizontal plate half
